Secondly, this is one of my all time favourite songs, Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison, guaranteed to get me up and dancing, irrespective of my location. It’s simply a great, feel-good song and you can’t help but think that it was written especially for you if you are, like me, a brown=eyed girl =) It’s actually an acoustic cover version of it, sung beautifully by this guy I happened to come across on YouTube. Oh woooooooow, I am excited about this! I don’t like wearing black mascarra as I have fair eyelashes (being blonde) and black is definitely way too harsh on me. I have used brown mascaras in the past but none really appealed to me (either too wet, brush too thin, smudges, etc.) but I am keen to try this one out.
p.s: i love this song too!
He’s got a great voice, whoever he is. Cute too.
But more to the point, Benefit ought to come out with more waterproof mascaras, they’ve only got it in black which is a real pity because I reckon their profits would double if they came out with waterproof stuff. It’s a real let down. But I guess there are some women who don’t like waterproof nor do they need it.
I bought it here in the US a month ago and I do love it! It thickens my eyelashes in a nice, natural and not-in-your-face sort of way. Shame it’s not waterproof though, sad I know with what I am going to say but I always check the weather forecast night before so that I can decide in advance whether to wear this or not!
I enquired about this in the store and I was told that although it isn’t waterproof, it does not smudge or smear so the staying power is quite good. You just wouldn’t want to be caught out in the rain with it.
