Smokey Eyes
Contrary to what people may believe, I am very much a homebody and go out on the tiles once every blue moon or so. I just love chilling at home with my other half or going out for meals, movies, etc. So as much as I love my friends and being social, I also relish in my solitude as time-to-yourself is good for the soul =)
When I do go out though, I love to do my eyes in a smokey manner to add depth. Obviously this look is a bit too much in broad daylight so I reserve this sort of look for night time occasions only. There is a dizzying number of tutorials available online on “how to do smokey eyes” that involve a crapload of eyeshadows and a multitude of tools. Don’t get me wrong, the results are stunning and I give credit to all the bloggers who post such exquisite photos of their eye makeup but I like to keep things simple and just stick to a couple of shadows to create the smokey look from my Urban Decay Deluxe Box:

Follow me:
- Naked eye- apart from my permanent eyeliner
- Applying my primer from lashline up to browbone (I use ordinary neutral eyeshadow- Revlon Matte Eyeshadow in Vintage Lace)
- Tightlining upper lashline with Estee Lauder Double Wear eyeliner in Onyx
- Urban Decay Deluxe Shadow in Underground applied from lashline to browbone
- Urban Decay Deluxe Shadow in Zero applied from lashline to crease (going slightly past it) and using the inverted “V” method

- Using a neutral coloured shadow and a clean brush, fluff around the edges to get rid of any harsh lines. BLEND BLEND BLEND
- …the resulting colour should be soft
- Sleek Ink Pot Eye Gel Liner in Dominatrix applied to top and bottom lashline
- Urban Decay Deluxe Shadow in Honey applied to inner corner. Blend Blend Blend
- …the result should be soft and a gradual shift in colour
- Curl my eyelashes and apply Maybelline Intense XXL mascara (primer first followed by the mascara)

I love your hair! Do you have extensions?
When you’ve got your eyes closed, your eyelashes are freakishly long! But once you curl your eyelashes and put mascara on, it looks really good!
